Anyway, I was in one of those moods for dessert, but felt the guilt of the spoon, so I decided to make some peanut butter and Nutella no bake cookies. Oh heavens, it’s way too easy and way too delicious. I took my classic recipe for no bake cookies that I’ve been using for years, and worked in Nutella. This recipe is super easy to make and is perfect for an adventure in cooking with kids. My kids eat peanut butter Nutella sandwiches as their go-to lunch of choice, so this recipe is right up their alley. The first step in the recipe is on the stove, but I have found that this is a perfect way to introduce kids to the stovetop. All they have to do is stir. Just keep a close eye on them and give them fare warning about the heat and they are good to go! My kids have been cooking on the stove as young as 4. I promise, they can do way more than you think! Be sure to use old fashioned roll oats in this recipe. I have found that they give a far better texture than instant oats which are a bit too small and powdery. And then there’s steal cut rolled oats that are far too chewy for a no bake cookie. Watch the video below where I walk you through ever step of this recipe. It is super helpful for visual learners, and hey, kids love watching stuff on YouTube! So if you are going to have your kids cook, have them give it a watch too! I have a huge library of cooking videos over there so feel free to stay a while and check them out! Δ Δ
